After a prolonged hiatus the Art of Analysis previews and predictions has finally come back. Don’t lie we know your missed it. We are back with a bang and here is our dedicated look ahead of the Saturdays away clash to Burnley.
The Lineup:
Whilst Arsenal are still dealing with injuries to the left bank and front line the starting XI utilised against Liverpool with Kiwior at LB for Zinchenko and the false 9 of Kai Havertz creating space for Martinelli, Saka and Ødegaard to get into the box remains our strongest and most versatile XI to attack opposition with. That remains the strongest team available for Mikel in order to overcome either a game opposition or a side sitting in that deep deep low block we tend to encounter.
Much like the game against West Ham, Trossard may start CF but will often rotate with Kai Havertz allowing Trossard to drift across the front line and Havertz becoming a physical focal point of the attack drawing out defenders and creating space for the rest of our attackers across the front line.
Injury Update:
Arsenal are still dealing with a significant injury list despite their dominant win over West Ham. Only Takehiro Tomiyasu is expected to be back in the squad soon, while several key players remain sidelined.
Cautious Approach for Key Figures: The club is choosing not to rush Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus, who are recovering from calf and knee injuries respectively. Both are unlikely to feature before the crucial Champions League clash against Porto next week.
Longer-Term Absences: Midfielders Thomas Partey and Fabio Vieira continue their rehabilitation, while defender Jurrien Timber faces a long-term recovery.
Status Unclear: The availability of Emile Smith Rowe is uncertain after he missed the West Ham match with an ankle issue. His return date remains to be determined.
Conclusion:
Arsenal vs. Burnley Match Prediction:
Dominant Gunners Eye Another Big Win Against Burnley: Fresh off their impressive 6-0 thrashing of West Ham, Arsenal appear primed for another resounding victory when they visit Turf Moor.
Burnley, still struggling this season, will likely enter the match feeling apprehensive facing an in-form and confident Arsenal side. Recent January signings offer hope for Burnley’s future, but the current momentum lies with the visitors.
Ruthless Arsenal Expected to Continue Stellar Form: Expect a strong performance from Mikel Arteta’s men, determined to capitalize on their current form and potentially widen their goal difference significantly. While Burnley shouldn’t be underestimated, Arsenal’s recent dominance suggests they are the clear favorites to secure another impressive win.
Predictions:
Score line: Burnley 0 Arsenal 5
POTM: Martin Ødegaard
Suggested Bet: Result = Arsenal & Over 2.5 Goals.
